Last spring I made a beaded lace stole for my sister Joanna's high school graduation, and since I didn't use the entire skein of Jaggerspun Zepyr, I kept my eyes open for small projects to use up the remnants. And how can a writer resist a lace bookmark?

Interesting fact: you can see arched windows similar to this pattern on the 20 Euro note.

After blocking, I stiffened the bookmark with a sugar starch, but next time I would try a spray-on laundry starch (which I understand is less sticky, and not as attractive to ants!).
