Notes

When I was making this sweater, choosing the yarn and the pattern, I didn't know the name of the child who would eventually wear it. How serendipitous, then, that a pullover made from the colour Secret Garden, a melange of greens with a little purple for accent, would find its home with a little girl named Liefe.

I found the pattern to be "as advertised": the top-down seamless design was both pure and simple. My only misgivings are about how manageable it will be to get a baby's head through the neck opening. Next time I'll probably use a ribbed edging, rather than the rolled stockinette.
